Nick watched the kids this morning so I could go for a run. It was a little bit chilly but the sun was out and shining. It felt so good to run hard. All my troubles seemed to melt away as I ran along the trail. I was reminded again how important running and sunshine are for my mental health. Thank you Heavenly Father for the sun and for legs that can run. Thank you thank you thank you!
Nick got to spend part of the day with us and it was great. We did very average things: Costco, picked up Ella, practiced basketball at the park then played on the playground. Then nick played with the kids while I made dinner. Very average but so so grand having nick with us!! It made me long to have a normal schedule. 9-5 job with weekends off. Wouldn't that be awesome? We probably wouldn't get paid as well but I wouldn't care. I can live off less if it meant I got to see my hubby more. It would just be so nice to have nick home more. I know I know...the grass is always greener on the other side. It sure sounds amazing though....
