Nick comes home today! I can't wait to see him!!
Lincoln went to bed at 7:30pm and woke up at 5:45 am! Too bad I stayed up till after midnight or else it would have been a great nights sleep. Link went back to sleep at 6:45am and I decided to squeeze a run in before taking Ella to school. I ran 3 miles fast! Fastest since before I was pregnant with Link... 9min 15sec miles (well at least the first mile. The other two were a little slower but not by much). I had been going 11 min 20 sec (ish) miles, so that's a great improvement!
Then I took Ella to school and put up the door decor. It really turned out great :).
Then I went to Ella's assembly where she got the award for top reader in her class and although they didn't hand out this award she also got top reader for all of K-2nd grade! There's a girl that Ella has been neck and neck with all year for top reader. There's four "turms" around the race track. Ella won the first. Avery won the second and now Ella won the third but only by 2 books! We have to step up our game for the next and final turn!
After Link's nap we went to Saginaw to go to the Chase bank. Nick texts me yesterday and asked if we paid rent yet. We hadn't! I totally forgot! I paid more on our credit card when we really didn't have the money for it. We didn't have enough money in our account to pay rent. I know Heavenly Father blessed us because I had just enough cash between the money I earned at the garage sale and the cash Joan had given to me earlier to pay for some of the groceries to put in the bank to to pay rent. Definitely a tithing blessing. We've always had enough to pay our bills and I know it's because of paying tithing. That's the promise Heavenly Father gives to us. Thank you Heavenly Father for a tithing blessing!
After the bank we went to the Walmart in Saginaw to get Nicks birthday cake and birthday bash balloons.
After dropping off the stuff and Joan for a nap, the kids and I went to the airport to get my true love. I'm so glad Nick's finally home!
