The kids are still tired from our adventure yesterday. It definitely showed as Ella got ready for school (and it didn't help that she got up at 6!). She was craaanky! She wanted to watch a show on the iPad, which was fine because she woke up so early. But then she wanted to keep watching shows on the iPad. I'd tell her to put it away and put her clothes on and she'd watch as she snail styled each article of clothing. Finally I took it away and she had a melt down. I'm sure I wasn't as patient as I should have been, but it had to be done. Luckily after a brief time out in her room she was able to change her attitude and make it to school on time.
I went for a run. Lisey and I played hide and seek together. Then in the afternoon I went to Ella's school to get some materials to make a door decoration for Ella's teacher (next week is teacher appreciation week). It's a super hero theme. We'll see how it turns out, I've never made a door before.
Joan took Ella to gymnastics so I could start work on the door but Link woke up almost the moment she left so I didn't get the chance. I cleaned up the house a bit instead. Joan spoiled us with subwa. Then the kids had a shower and we got them to bed.
Then we watched While You Were Sleeping and I worked on the door. It turned out super ;)!
