We went to the pool today. The kids love to swim. All of them... Including me haha. That's one of the best things about being a mom. You get to be a kid again. I love Fall Break! 

We did some cleaning up this morning and then I took the kids to the Lehi swimming pool. I put Lincoln in a floaty for the first time and he seemed to really like it. It made it a lot easier for me to play in the water with him and Lisey. Ella's favorite part was going down the ginormous slide over and over and over again. Lisey liked playing on the jungle and going down the smaller slide.  And we all enjoyed the lazy river whirlpool. Lincoln seemed pretty comfortable in the floaty which was very nice. I'm glad he had a good time even though he took a horrendous nap and still seemed fairly tired.

After the pool I took the kids to the library and we got a library card and checked out a bunch of fun books. It felt nice to be back at the library. We've been here over two months and this was our first trip to the library. Usually the library is first on our list of things to do in a new city, but we've been crazy busy starting school and getting moved in I just hadn't found the time yet. Like I said, it was great to be back at the library. 

Ammon came over in the evening and brought pizza for all of us. Then we watched the new Cinderella and frozen fever. Lincoln was crawling around like crazy and thoroughly worn himself out. All the kids were worn out tonight and went to sleep fairly easily.

Ammon stayed for a big kid movie which he chose and it was Ice princess. Ha ha I couldn't help but laugh at his "adult" movie choice. We chatted for a bit afterwards and I told everyone all of Nick secret talents, like being able to do a very good impersonation of dobby and stitch and a deck. I even told them about his famous fabulous Irish jig. It made me really miss Nick to talk about all the funny things he does. I love make so much. He brings so much laughter and joy to my life.

I finally finished my painting. I'm really proud of how it turned out.
