Fri Aug 7th

Cam and I got out of the house early this morning and went to La Jolla Shores for an awesome adventure. It was super awesome. We walked along the Cliffs for a while and checked out cool sea creatures and nice rocks. It was really good memories for me because I hadn't been there in years and that's where Nick and I went on our first date (with Cameron a long). Then we headed out into the water with our little tiny swim goggles that belong to Ella and Anna Lise. But even though we didn't have snorkels and just a little goggles they worked great. We saw all kinds of fish including the cool orange Garibaldi fish (in several spots there were about 15 or more of the orange fish right by your feet). We saw these cool fish that were brown with blue glowing spots, at least they look like they were glowing.

We even saw a load of sharks. Tons and tons of sharks! We saw at least 40 sharks. They had very cool spots all over them. Neither of us knew what kind they were, all we knew was that they were awesome. We swam over to the seal Beach area. We had sea lions swimming right with us as we swam through the water. Several times we had them a foot or two from our faces. We saw some sea lions playing with each other right next to us in the water. They looked like they were biting each other's jaws in a playful way and we were right next to them to see it. Way way cool. Thank you heavenly father for your beautiful creations of the ocean beach. It made Cameron a very grateful to have grown up in San Diego where we can enjoy the beautiful ocean.

Then Cam and I went over to Del Mar to hang out with the kids.
Lisey, Ella  and I went swimming and had the best time.
Link had so much fun crawling around in the sand and water. One wave totally knocked him down but he didn't cry one drop. Another beach baby is born.
All the fun in the waves did wear him out though and he took a good snooze.
Cam and the kids made an awesome sand castle.

Around 4 o'clock Jordan texted me and said they were at the beach over on 29th St. So we headed over there to hang out with them and Kika.
Uncle Jordan having fun with little Link.
Lisey is the master climber. She had the best time climbing all the rocks at the beach.
Ella and Kika had so much fun swimming and playing together.
Jim chased Lisey around while Lisey climbed the rocks. He's training to be Harper's grandpa.
Great day at the beach!! We stayed till around 7pm. We all got pretty fried. Especially my face. Ouch!
