Tues Aug 4th

Yeah! We're in San Diego! 

We're going to the beach but the girls couldn't wait so they hopped in the pool.

The beach was amazing! I could feel all my stress melt away (and there was a lot of stress to melt). Link took a good snooze so I was able to go in the water for a long time. 

Both Lisey and Ella are water babies. Anne is such a teen now! I can't believe how grown up she is. 

Cam and the kids dug a great big hole and the girls had a blast playing in it.

Lisey and I went boogie boarding for a long time. Then Cam and I went body surfing. The ocean definitely has healing powers. 

 I wish Nick could have been there. He is getting slammed over and over. He is so done with work. Everyone is blaming him for all the problems in his offices. One of his bosses even told him that he lost his spot as poster boy in the company. He feels like everyone is mad at him and they are even threatening to take away Purdue. I wish I was I there to help him and comfort him. He's so alone. He was really sad when I told him that Ella asked if we were separated. Nothing is going right, but he is stuck there and we are stuck apart. It stinks.
