Mon June 8th

Holy smokes that took forever! Dear dear Caroline Sagers took Ella and Annalise for the day and it still took all day (8am-7pm) to get the house and car packed and to leave for the short leg of the trip to Oklahoma, even with Joan's help.  I have been packing for the last month, so I thought I was almost done. Nope. What a grooling day. We were going to stop at Kenny and Joan's house but I guess the AC went out so Kenny put us up in a hotel, which was very kind. 

Happy 8 month birthday Lincoln!! In honor of your 8 months on the earth we let him drive the car...

Just kidding, but he totally wanted to. Link wasn't very happy in his car seat so we had to stop often to feed him and change him and try to make him happy. Each time he wanted to drive. 

Caroline Sagers gave us the sweetest present in the world. She wrapped up 19 presents, each containing something for Ella and Lisey to do in the car. It was definitely the saving grace. She is kindest most thoughtful person I know. That was so so nice.
