Mon June 29th

We went to that fun indoor playground again this morning and met Ella's friend that we met there the other day. Her mom is really nice. She's a stay at home mom like me and we planned a few more outings of fun.
While we were there we bought a little doll that was half price. It's a doll that you make. I figured of all things to buy at least it could be a toy and a craft all-in-one. Ella did I do a chore to earn the money to get it before she could open the box. She actually did it very swift which shows me she really wanted the doll.

Ella loved making the doll. It wasn't exactly easy which I loved because it's taught her to endure through hard times to get to a wonderful reward. She wanted to give up at times but the idea of a beautiful doll helped her work through it. By the end she was really proud of what she had created.
She put on a show for us staring her new doll.

The kids were starting to go crazy again after Lincoln's nap so we decided to go down to the pool. I was so exhausted that I did not feel like it at all, but a mom's work is never done. So I took the kids down to the pool and watched on the side lines with Link. I ended up being very glad we went.
The kids got worn out and I got to sit down for a minute. Link just enjoyed the show.
It ended up being a really great idea. The kids went to sleep pretty easily that night after family home evening. For FHE we read about the Ganianton Robbers and how important it is to keep our lives free from sin. For the activity we divided into teams (lisey and I verses Ella and nick) and tried to get all the socks onto the other teams side. The side with the fewest socks (aka sin) won. We all laughed and laughed. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. And to think I almost didn't have FHE because I was so tired. Major blessing. It was a great evening of just having fun together.
