Today I would place myself in the "useless human category". Other than the run I went on this morning, I've been inside all day... feeding the baby, burping the baby, changing the baby, and wiping Lisey's nose. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. I guess Lisey and I also played tea party. Lincoln has taken a series of five minute naps all day long. That's not much time to get anything done.
During those 5 minute naps I washed and folded one load of laundry and baked and frosted cinnamon rolls. I forgot the salt in the cinnamon rolls so made another batch. I want to get them right. I feel like every time I make them I mess them up somehow. This time I blotched them twice over... No salt and over baked them. The recipe said bake for 30 mins which seemed way to long but I trusted the silly recipe. I set the timer for 25 just in case. Then I checked them 4 mins before that and...burned :( Not krispy burnt but still way overdone. Lame lame lame.
It doesn't help that I'm super tired from the horrible night sleep I got and feeling not motivated. What I really needed to get done was organize Lincoln's clothes so Joan has a bed to sleep on. Oh well...
Oh wait Lincoln is back asleep... If he sleeps for more than 5 mins maybe I can get a little organizing done. I'll let you know... Nope. He's back up. What is wrong with our little link?
The girls had fun dressing up and pretending they were shopping at the mall. I'm so glad they have each other to play with.
Then when nick got home we had family dinner and family home evening. We talked about the scriptures Jacob 2:17-21... About seeking the kingdom of God before seeking for riches. And also about servings others and treating them how you like to be treated.
The girls and Lincoln got baths then I read the girls books.
Good night my babies. I hope you all sleep well...especially Lincoln....
