No rest for the weary... Lincoln slept bad again last night. Maybe he's going through a growth spurt. If only I'd go to bed when he goes to bed, then maybe I would be less tired. But 8:30pm is a hard time to get right into bed at... Too bad because his longest sleep stretch is always the first leg. He went to bed at 8:30pm and then woke up at 12:30am (up for an hour), then got up again at 4:30am and then 5:15am and 7am. Yuck. I've gotten  less sleep before, but this seemed worse because of all the great sleep I got a few nights ago. I guess I've tasted the sweetness and it's hard to go back. Poor Nick woke up when Lincoln was crying. I just had the worst time getting up quick. I couldn't drag myself out of bed. 

Nicks gone already this morning. He left at 7:30 AM. He's off to Indiana for a career fair to try and recruit people for his team. He'll be back Thursday night at 11:30pm, just soon enough for our cruise. Our flight leaves Friday at 12:56pm. Hopefully my mom will be able to survive the week of minimal sleep with Lincoln. I guess I better pray hard for her and for Joan that the kids will all be safe and happy...and sleep well.

I went for a run and enjoyed the beautiful cold freezing gloomy world. Then lisey and I went over to Stephanie's house for some playtime while joan watched Lincoln while he napped (or at least kind of napped). Lincoln was out again when we got back and lisey was bouncing off the walls, so lisey and I jumped on the trampoline and played with Kinetic sand. It was nice to have some me and lisey time. I feel bad that Lincoln doesn't like to stay in his bed and doesn't love the swing or the floor so I end up holding him most of the day which doesn't make me the best playing companion (at least for crazy playing, which is lisey's favorite kind). 

Dressing like a super hero...but still sassy and girly.

After we picked up Ella we went to the library and then the park. I guess I finally wore out Lisey bc she fell asleep on the way home. She was so tired she didn't wake up when the fire alarm went off and she wouldn't wake up when I tried to get her up for dinner. Hopefully she'll sleep through the night still. I think she will. She needs to catch up on some sleep. 

The park was fun. No matter how much the kids spun they did not get dizzy. They wanted me to spin them faster and faster. I got dizzy just looking at them spinning!

It was colder than I expected outside so Lincoln had to sport Ella's beany that I happened to have in the diaper bag. True men wear pink :) Even so....don't tell nick 😉.
