Lincoln is 4 months old today! I hope the kids are safe and happy.
Nick and I tried not to do anything to crazy today since it's the sabbath. We didn't swim or go to the gym. We had a low key breakfast and nick randomly saw an old mission companion. We watched the dish one guys play a basketball tournament and enjoyed the sunshine. It was fancy night at dinner. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable day. I read about the stripling warriors in the scriptures.

Here's Joan's report of the kids...
Hi, Nick & Brooke!

I hope you are both having a great time.  Hopefully, you are getting some rest.  Things are going fine here.  Sorry, I didn't take a picture today.  Lisey has not been feeling well.  She woke up early with Ella this morning and continues to run a fever once the ibuprofen wears off.  Fortunately, she went back to sleep on the couch for a couple of hours.  I asked Stephanie if her husband could come by and give Lisey a blessing.  Josh and his Dad came by around 10:15 AM and gave her a blessing.  Lisey did eat at least half a bowl of oatmeal and a few orange slices earlier today.  The majority of the day was spent on the couch, resting, watching a couple of Church movies, a couple of Seth movies and 2 Disney movies, sipping on water periodically.  She did drink some juice and had vitamins.  We walked down the street and around the corner and back.  That exhausted her.  When we got back, she fell asleep on the couch for 2 hrs.  Ella went out in the backyard and played for a while.  Lisey did eat at least half a bowl of chicken noodle soup and drank some orange Gatorade.  We read books.  Ella was asleep by 8:30.  Lisey is in bed, but still awake, probably due to the late nap.  The ibuprofen is in her system, so she is a bit more lively.

The girls have been very good about getting ready for bed and brushing their teeth.  Lisey hasn't fought me on the teeth brushing at all.  She has also been much better about letting me change her diaper.  Neither one of them has gotten up in the middle of the night.  Lisey has asked a couple of times where you two were, and is OK when told you are on you trip.  She also asked where the baby is.  I explained that Lincoln is in San Diego with Giga and Papa.

Earlier today, Ella was doing something on the iPad and was showing Lisey.  Ella was excited because she taught Lisey to say "boyfriend."  Girlls!! It's too early for this stuff!!

Hope you are having good weather and smooth seas.  Enjoy the vacation!  Love you both!!

Dad's letter about Lincoln...
We have had a lot of fun with Link.
He had a little bit of a hard time getting use to his bottle. He was pretty fussy last night until he got hungry enough to start drinking his bottle. He finally gulped down his dinner and slept from 9pm to 5am, not bad.
Holly took Link to church today he was a good boy.
Holly calls Anne the baby whisperer, Link takes the pacifier from Anne no problem.
We hope you are having a good time.
It looks like they are dividing our ward today.
Love you,
 Dad
