Sat Nov 7th

Today was Ella's birthday party! This morning we cleaned like mad people and set things up for the bash. Then we went to Walmart to get a few other party things. This year Ella wanted a rock n' royals birthday party. We all dyed our hair and all the kids wore dress up costumes. We had a bubble gum blowing contest and played instruments. We did face painting too. Oh yeah and a piñata.  All Ella's favorite things rolled into one night. 

Ella wanted a tye-dye cake. I put the frosting on and Lisey did the sprinkles. Ella thought it was awesome. Dave and Marie and their boys came down to celebrate and Grandma Great came and our cousins Leslie and Paulo. The Cooks came too and then a bunch of Ella's school chums and of course the McCuens and Uncle Ammon. It was a full full house, but I think everyone had a good time.

I'd like to say opening presents was Not Ella's favorite part of the party, but that would be a fib. Ella loves new things, so opening all those presents was the coolest thing ever for her. She got quite a few cool things, including some fun crafty things that she's going to love love love.
