Happy birthday to my sweet little girl Ella! I can't believe she's eight years old already. Even though sometime she acts 14, she's still my little girl and I can't believe that she's eight.
Ella woke up excited to open her American girl doll that she's been dying to have for the past year or two.
After Ella opened the doll she twirled her around and hugged her and named her Bella because that rhymes with Ella. That little pic in the corner is of Ellas birthday invitation. She wants a rock star birthday party haha. We'll see what I can whip up.
I had to take Lisey to swim lessons so Nick got to go to Ella's school to eat her birthday lunch with her. They had a fun daddy daughter date snacking on happy meals :)
After school Ella wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese's for her birthday fun and then to a Hibachi grill for dinner where Ella enjoyed shrimp and miso soup. Nick and I had the all you can eat sushi. It wasn't the best sushi I've ever had but it was still delicious. It was a great evening and it was fun enjoying it with the McCuens.
Something else cool... Nick said he ciould feel the power of the fast softening his heart!! He is feeling a lot more love and understanding towards Sian, Steve and Will! He even paid for their fun at chuck e cheese and their dinner at the Hibachi place. He said he feels at peace. Oh the power of fasting!! It truly is a miracle because Nick has been extremely frustrated and unhappy with the McCuens living with us. I know that it was only through God's mercy and great power that Nick's heart could be soften. Thank you Heavenly Father for fasting 😍
